Operation Practice Putting Green is a Go!

After a significant amount of planning and consultations with various agronomists and irrigation experts. we are incredibly excited to see construction start on our new putting and chipping green.

For years and years and under previous ownership, the golf course and golfers have been without a proper putting green, something that we knew that we had to change as soon as possible. Having played golf for over 20 years I have never encountered a golf course that fails to have even the most simple of putting greens. It has been embarrassing for the club and it's staff and understandably frustrating for members and visitors.

Similarly to other developments at Skylark, we aren't simply just going to build something 'standard'. The new practice area will have a dedicated putting green and a separate chipping green, it will be surrounded by a pretty picket fence and slate chippings, it will have a block paved trolley and golf bag area, and also have additional block paved areas for seating and plants. Once completed it will surely be the most stunning putting green in the south.

The project will be completed by mid February, but will need time to settle before it can be used. We anticipate that you guys will be able to enjoy this fantastic new facility from the start of the season (1st April, subject to weather conditions).
